As to be Expected (Willie/Cecillia)

Willie stumbled through the woods in a painful state trying to get back to the Old House. He stumbled upon Syerren at the alley without realizing he was caught doing so and tortured by him until a woman came and witnessed the event. Now after Syerren fled the scene he was helped by Maggie and Joe make sense of things. Wanting to give up he, shivered the thought of more of creatures of the night walked the earth ones associated with Amy. Leaning on a tree he nursed his wounds trying to stop the blood and pain. Before he realized it, the same girl he met earlier appeared. Wanting to be left alone he continued on towards the Old House then stumbled once more catching Cecillia’s attention. “Please I’ll be fine…”

After leaving the Old House, Cecillia wondered around in the woods for a bit, not ready to retreat to Collinwood just yet. As she finally started back on the route to the main estate, she caught a glimpse of Willie up ahead, leaning against a tree injured. Her mind immediately began trying to picture what had happened as she made her way to him. “Here Willie let me help you please,” she said, coming up to him, watching as he tried to stray away. “You can hardly walk; I dare say you are fine,” Cecillia insisted, grabbing onto his arm. “I will help you back to the Old House Willie; it’s the least I can do after what happened earlier.” As he reluctantly gave in, the two began to walk back to the Old House. “So, what happened to you Willie?”

Walking with her to the Old House, Willie shaking from the event shook his head, “I…don’t know…that man…those men…there not…as they seem. Amy shouldn’t be with them!” Willie feeling a pain his head, he heard wolves in the distance. “I don’t understand it…Miss Cecillia, I thought they were good people but…Amy could be in danger!” Feeling the pain worsen, Willie cried out then proceeded on as Cecillia help him.

Arriving back to the Old House Willie cleaned himself up as best he could then collapsed to the armour chair. “Miss. I don’t understand at all.”

“I’m sure in time they aren’t that bad,” Cecillia said reassuringly. “Perhaps since they are new, they just take some getting used to. Plus, I’m sure that my running in here earlier and your opening the door when they were hoping for Amy, doesn’t make matters much better.”

Walking across the room towards the kitchen, she turned back to Willie; “I will be right back with something for that,” she said, then helped herself to a clean cloth, forgetting that in 1968 she likely wouldn’t have even been able to find the kitchen, let alone a cloth. Bringing it back in to Willie, Cecillia handed it to him then walked over to the window. “With time, even the dogs barking in the distance aren’t so noticeable.”

“Have you seen what one of them did to me?” Taking the cloth from her, Willie sneered considering she actually knows them. “You have no idea who you are dealing with.” Shaking his head, he looked up stairs. “I guess perhaps I should turn in for the night. You can see yourself out Miss Collins I trust.” Stumbling to the stairs he looked back at the girl, “eh… thanks for your help Miss Cecillia.”
