Disposing the Crime (Syerren/Sheriff/Vladimir)

Arriving upon the scene the accident seeing already police tape was present around the scene, Vladimir and Syerren appeared and looked around the area. Syerren having constant thought of Vlad’s plan to be the wrong thing all the while having no alternative, leaned against the tree watching Vlad observe the wreckage. “Are you sure about this?” Syerren asked. “Of course; we’ll have this place cleaned up in no time.” picking up the broken car door then tossing it inside. “Come on help me with this car and we’ll dispose of it.” Already easily lifting one end of the vehicle up, he spoke up getting his attention. “Syerr . . .” he spoke seeing he had his eyes fixed on something. “Someone’s here.” Tensing slightly but holding himself together, Vlad lowered the car again and looked around scuffing, “Nonsense come on.” Quickly then grabbing on to Vlad's arm he gestured towards the car, "Brother . . . the sheriff he's here!" Staring feeling slightly worried, stood his ground as the man got out of the car. Moving towards him, he spoke, "Evening sheriff." Vladimir spoke, "We heard tell there was an accident that involved Simon's car and wanted to . . . see for ourselves."

Surprised in finding the exact men whom he was off to go see at the scene of the accident, Patterson maneuvered towards them. "I was just off to come out and visit you two after stopping by here and taking one last look around, but looks like I get to save myself the trip, possibly," he spoke, taking a good look at Vlad and Syerren. "So, I hear tell that you two men where out last night with Mr. Smith, supposedly around the time this all happened; what can either of you tell me about any of this?"

Feeling stunned by the question, Vladimir looked around at the accident, “Well Sheriff, I don't know exactly what I can tell you of the accident, I was out when . . .” he glanced towards Syerren for help who shrugged but then smiled towards Patterson. “The truth his Sheriff and pardon my brother for his cluelessness, but this is a staged accident.” “What?” both the sheriff and his brother glared at him. Nodding, trying to go with the story, Syerren moved towards the car, “Yes . . . you see my brother and me, in our spare time do a bit of filming and wanted to get a shot but it got out of hand.” Taking a deep breath he continued, “I’m afraid we didn't want Mr. Smith to know about it yet. We’ll pay for all the charges of course.”

"Is that so?" Patterson questioned, finding what was said to be completely preposterous and unbelievable, yet didn't picture himself in front of congenital liars. "So you two staged this . . . all of this?" Watching them slowly nod, Patterson cleared his throat. "Well, under . . . normal conditions . . . well . . . to be quite frank, I honestly don't know what to do as I've never seen a situation like this before." Sighing, he shook his head; "Listen, this time I'm going to let it slide by, because quite frankly I don't see a reason to pursue this any further, but don't let it happen again."

“So . . . Simon he’s off the hook then?” Syerren asked quite amazed his plan worked. With a small hesitation from the sheriff then a nod, the brothers felt of relief.  “We’ll get this cleared up Sheriff. . .”  Vlad added as he watched him leave towards his car.  Soon as the cost was clear, he laughed almost hysterically, embracing Syerren.  “You were amazing Syerren; where the devil did you come up with something like that?” Smiling looking around he shook, “Oh . . . I don't know,” crossing his arms,  “I guess I was just thinking of the best way to get Simon out of it all without revealing what happened.” Feeling soon the winter night get to them, Vlad shivered while looking towards the car, “Well I suppose we better get this cleared up.” Nodding the two got to work in clearing up the scene while keeping Simon clean from his eccentric behavior.
