Reginald's First Snow Day (Cecillia/Amy)

Upstairs in the loft bedroom which she and Simon used, as well as where Reginald slept in his crib, Cecillia was found with Reginald in her arms. Placing the growing boy on the bed, Cecillia then retrieved warm clothes for him to wear, including a insulated snow suit Simon had purchased for Reg for his birthday. After dressing him in a pair of pants and long sleeve shirt, Cecillia then stuffed the baby in the thick, light blue snow suit, grinning at how cute he looked. Next placing socks on him, she then put on the new snow boots, also a gift from Simon. Finally for the finishing touches, Cecillia stuck Reginald's hands in small blue mittens and placed a fluffy at on top of his head. Tickling the baby to get his reaction, Cecillia then laughed with Reginald as she put on warm clothes herself, then made her way downstairs to find Amy by the door. "I've got Reginald ready to go play in the snow, surely you want to come too dear Amy," Cecillia questioned, watching Amy's eyes light up from the sight of her son. "Isn't he just so cute!"

Reacting to Cecillia and Reginald coming to enjoy a day in the snow, Amy nodded enthusiastically to Cecillia loving his outfit, “Of course Cecillia, I wouldn’t miss it!” Getting herself ready quickly then joining them outside, seeing quickly the infants first reaction to snow. Watching him soon pick it up and realize it was cold he then put it in his mouth. Seeing this Amy gestured him not to, “It’s not to eat dear!” then looked to Cecillia, “Why don’t you show Reg how to do a snow angel Cill.”

"Good idea Amy," Cecillia grinned, picking Reg up and then placing him on his bottom in a new spot. "Now lay backwards Reg," Cecillia instructed as she gently helped the baby onto his back, seeing that snow was starting to fall onto his face slightly. "Brushing it off, she then gently slide his arms back and forth on the snow and then done the same to his legs. As she did this, Reginald soon began to get the drift as he started wildly sliding his arms and legs in the snow, giggling. "Okay that's enough Reg!" Cecillia laughed, picking him up carefully from the spot, then looking down at the spot where he had lay. "Well, what do you think, Amy? Does it look like a little snow angel to you?!"

“Yes it does, Cecillia,” Amy laughed loving the moment while slowly making a construction of her own. “Come help Mummy with a snowman dear,” looking behind seeing Reginald had more interest in the playing in the snow while Cecillia was helping him while making sure he wouldn't hurt himself. Smiling she went over towards him, “Let’s see if we can have him make something without him destroying it.” watching him continuously slap the snow.

As Reginald continued playing in the snow, Cecillia smiled as he soon stopped, building not much more than a small mountain. "Hold up," Cecillia spoke, leaving Amy and Reg as she ran over to the driveway, uncovering the snow enough to pick up a handful of gravels. Running back, she sat down in the snow again, then with Reg and Amy's help, they all decorated a face on the hill. "Now, it's a snowman's face," she spoke, standing Reg up as he grabbed a rock, attempting to eat it too. "Maybe he's hungry," Cecillia laughed as Amy removed the rock. "Makes me wonder if Simon caught a deer, or just decided to walk to the store and buy a turkey."

Laughing slightly from the whole idea Simon even agreeing to such, Amy then shrugged knowing her cousin does have her ways with him. “I’m sure Simon will know what is best and make everyone proud.” Looking then back down to Reginald, still trying in attempts to play in the snow, she swiftly lifted him into her arms as he laughed. “Yes . . . I suppose it would be good if we all got something to eat then Reggy here is going to take his nap so he can be ready for when his daddy wakes,” then adjusted him as he wanted to play even more while happy in knowing that Reginald enjoyed his first snow day.
