Leaving Treasured Valuables Behind (Syerren/Cecillia/Simon)

A plan was set. Knowing nothing more of what would happen tonight if anything everyone in the Old House knew they had to prepare for when Brighton will strike. First and for most, valued lives had to be spared. Given the idea of leaving Cecillia and Reginald behind in sanctuary at Cecillia’s father’s house, Syerren and Simon both escorted Cecillia and the baby through the woods knowing this was for the best.

Arriving to the house and being greeted by Cecillia’s father Michael, Syerren spoke up of the plan. “I hope you didn’t mind Cecillia taking care of Reginald for evening. It’s just the family had a gathering to attend to out of town.” Seeing he more then happily nodded then let Simon and him in as they both went to get Cecillia and Reginald settled. Watching as Michael left the room, Syerren almost felt it was a farewell to Cecillia feeling his heart sink. “I guess this is it dear,” instantly embracing her. Feeling tears run down his cheek, Syerren kissed her whispering, “Stay strong my love. We’ll make it all of us.” Standing Syerren stepped back cuddling his nephew letting Simon be with his wife.

Hugging Simon, wishing he could stay with her and Reginald, Cecillia kissed him, then looked into his eyes. "Don't get yourself or anyone else killed, you hear? she laughed, slightly. "I want you back here to pick me up before morning . . ." "Of course my lovely Cecillia," Simon whispered, kissing Cecillia again. "I love you Simon," Cecillia began to cry. "Well if you love me, why are you crying?" Wiping away Cecillia's tears with his thumb, Simon smiled. "I've lived through this life for over two centuries; do you think I'm going to let it all end here? Of course not," he exclaimed, then gesturing Cecillia to say goodbye to Syerren once more.

Going to Syerren as Simon took over holding Reg, Cecillia smiled up at him. "It's time to show that brother of yours that you're even stronger than he is," Cecillia joked. "And whatever you do, watch my husband . . . he tends to get a little cocky if you know what I mean," she whispered, embracing Syerren. "Give best of luck to Vlad and Amy as well." Taking Reginald from Simon now, Cecillia smiled at both men as she held the infant. "Go make us proud you two!"

Smiling by Cecillia’s comments, Syerren kissed her once more lowering to her, “You know you mean the world to me. I love you Cecillia.” Then stood, glancing at Simon who was more or less the same state the two wandered out but Syerren took stopped taking one last look at Cecillia then grinned leaving with Simon.

Walking back saying very little, Syerren soon broke the tension looking up to Simon, “I’m glad your with Cecillia, Simon, she’s practically perfect in everyway and I want you to truly know that I’m proud for you,” patting him on the shoulder.

"Thanks mate," Simon nodded. "She makes my coming here even that much more worth it, and I'm glad that she had someone like you to tame her down before I decided to marry her," Simon laughed. "And I should think I should thank you, mate for even allowing the marriage to happen. But, enough of this talk," he continued. "We have a house to defend, so let's get to it!"
